Naveen graduated from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, with an Honours Degree in Life Sciences followed by a Masters in Neuroscience from the University of Western Ontario. He presented his research at multiple international meetings and in 1999 won an award for best MSc Thesis in the Neurosciences program. Naveen was extremely interested in Neurology. He went back to Queen’s University and obtained an M.D. in 2004. Naveen pursued specialty training in Neurology at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. In his short life Naveen published a number of research papers in Neuroscience and clinical Neurology, some of which are being cited in current research projects.
